DEIA Aesthetic Studio – Client Policies, Terms & Conditions
Client Agreement & Electronic Consent
By booking an appointment, submitting payment, placing a retainer, maintaining a card on file, or receiving services from DEIA Aesthetic Studio (“Studio,” “we,” or “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies and terms.
Electronic booking, digital signatures, or online acceptance constitute legally binding electronic consent under the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
1. Appointment Retainer (Liquidated Damages Agreement)
A $100 appointment retainer is required to reserve appointment time.
This retainer:
Secures appointment time exclusively reserved for you.
Compensates the Studio for lost booking opportunities and administrative costs if the appointment is canceled, rescheduled late, or missed.
The parties agree that actual damages from late cancellations or missed appointments are difficult to calculate. Therefore, the retainer represents a reasonable estimate of liquidated damages and is not intended as a penalty.
The retainer:
Will be applied toward the total service price when the appointment is completed.
Is non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
2. Cancellation Policy (48-Hour Notice Required)
Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment.
If cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice:
The appointment retainer will be forfeited as agreed liquidated damages.
Late cancellations prevent the Studio from filling the appointment time and result in financial loss.
3. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling requires at least 72 hours’ notice.
One (1) courtesy reschedule is permitted while retaining the original retainer.
Additional reschedules may require a new retainer at Studio discretion.
4. Late Arrival Policy
Clients must arrive on time.
Arrival 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may be considered a late cancellation.
The Studio reserves the right to refuse or modify services due to late arrival.
The retainer may be forfeited or a fee up to 50% of the scheduled service cost may be charged, consistent with this agreement.
5. No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice constitutes a no-show.
The retainer will be forfeited as liquidated damages.
No-show retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
6. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DEIA Aesthetic Studio and its related parties from claims arising from:
Your use of services
Your actions or omissions
Violation of this agreement
